Barranquilla is the fourth largest city in Colombia, and it is located
on the Caribbean too.
The "Window to the World" monument honors Barranquilla's place as the
main port city for Colombia since it is on the Magdalena River which
goes deep into the heart of Colombia.
The Shakira statue was just built when we went to Barranquilla.
She is from this area, and the statue is by the Magdalena
River.
This is the skyline of the city in the background.
