San
Francisco is known for being a liberal enclave within the United
States. Despite it's political shortcomings, San Francisco does
have great restaurants, scenic viewpoints, and beautiful
coastline. San Francisco has lots of fine dining establishments
just like Napa. Some of my favorite spots in the city include
Kokkari, Sens, & Jardiniere. San Francisco has a decent night
life as well. The Cellar is a fun club located near China Town,
and it has 80s dancing on Fridays nights usually. Other sites to
check out in San Francisco are Alcatraz Island, Coit Tower, Lombard
Street, China Town, Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and
AT&T Park. In 2008, I took a bay tour over San Francisco in a
Cessna 172. I even got to fly the plane for a bit too. We
went from Concord's Buchanan Fields to Half Moon Airport. After
having a nice lunch of sandnaps (kind of fish) in Half Moon Bay, we
flew back.
