The inside of Versailles was amazing!  None of the castles we saw in the UK could compare with the opulence of Versailles!

Paris was my favorite part of the 2012 European holiday.  The city was so bright, vibrant, and exciting.  The weather was amazing too.  It was not as humid as London was.  We saw a great deal in Paris itself including the Place de la Concorde, Tuilleries, Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur de Montmartre, La Defense, and the Champs Elysee.  In addition, we went to Versailles also, which is about 30 minutes outside of central Paris.  I highly recommend staying at the Trianon Palace, which is a Waldorf Astoria property now.  This palace turned hotel was a residence of Louis XIV.  It is quite opulent inside, but they have some modern design elements as well.

My French was actually coming back to me too as I began conversing with the locals.  I took a lot of French in high school and college.  Moreover, I was President of French Club at my high school too.  After a day or so, I even began thinking in French!

The French women were very hot!  Moreover, they had this alluring perfume that I kept smelling while walking around Paris.
