Rangers @ Giants (2025)

1
We stayed in San Rafael the night before this game and took the ferry from Larkspur.  For breakfast, we went to this amazing Jewish deli called Loveski in Larkspur Landing.

2
After breakfast, we waited in line at the famous Johnny's Doughnuts in Larkspur Landing to get one of their tasty treats!

3
We got a nice view of the Golden Gate Bridge from the ferry as we made our way to Oracle Park in San Francisco.

4
There is San Francisco in the distance.  I do not like San Francisco at all!  It is a leftist wasteland now.

5
The ferry terminal for the ballpark is right at one of the entrances.

6
Our seats were high up, but we had a nice view of the Bay.

7
We were dressed warm since that ballpark gets chilly even in the summer months!  Also, we were only in April still!

8
Here is another view of the field from the lower deck.  We lost the game 3-2 as the Giants walked it off in the 9th.

The Rangers stayed in Northern California after playing the A's in Sacramento during the last week of April.  Joy and I went down to see them in San Francisco on April 26, 2025.  We spent the night at a Sheraton Four Points in San Rafael the night before the game since we decided to take the ferry.  I did not want to drive into that leftist city which had speedcams set up and were issuing tickets based on how much someone earned.  The liberals are so messed up in the head.  Plus, I did not want to deal with the parking issues in that communist city.  Joy and I enjoyed a nice breakfast at the Jewish deli, Loveski, before we headed to the ferry terminal in Larkspur Landing.  The ferry ride was a little over an hour, and it was very scenic as we went passed the Golden Gate Bridge.

I got us tickets on the upper level near the third base side.  Although we were high up, we had nice views of the Bay, and we could watch the action below fine.  We had Tyler Mahle on the mound who was one of the top pitchers to emerge in the Rangers line up that year.  The game was tied going into the 9th inning, but we lost it in the 9th.  Boo!
