I did my bedroom is an Italian theme. I combined the
architectural elements of the Roman Empire with modern day Italy.

Wait a minute? This bedding looks different from the first
picture! Yes, that is right. My housekeeping staff rotates
my bedding every few months to keep everything fresh.

The bedroom set is from Ashley. I like how the dark wood
contrasts the lighter colors like the carpet. That throw is a
baby alpaca blanket my wife and I bought in Peru.

What is that box on the dresser? It is my luxury watch collection!
![8](Master08.jpg)
Let us take a closer peek. I have a Hamilton Automatic Field
Khaki, Oris Automatic, Movado Circa, Certina GMT Chronograph, Tissot
Chronograph, and a Tag Heuer Stainless Steel Kirium.
![M3](Master03.jpg)
I have a 55 inch 4K TV in the bedroom that is connected to the
DirecTV Genie System also.
![M5](Master05.jpg)
"Alexa" is here too to do my bidding. I have a 4K Blu Ray
Player too in addition to the other requirements for a home theater
system.
![M1](Master09.jpg)
For the 5.1 surround sound, I decided to go with Bose
speakers. My home theater guy installed all of these into the
ceiling.
![4](Master04.jpg)
I am very particular with luxury bed linens since I am so
spoiled. LOL. Without high tread count soft sheets and
luxury comforters, I can not fall asleep.

That teal accent wall complements the other teal elements in the room
like the vases and colors in the art work.
![1](MB01.jpg)
The master bathroom en suite is attached to the room, and I have
granite counters here too.
![M2](MB02.jpg)
A phone in the bathroom? Yes. That is the Ooma handset that
is attached to the Ooma VOIP system. I also have an outdoor
weather station that gives me the outdoor temperature and humidity.
![3](MB03.jpg)
I like to keep hotel toiletries in the bathroom to give me a spa and
hotel feel since I travel so much. I like to think of myself
staying in one of the high end hotels I stay at when I travel even when
at home. LOL.
![4](MB04.jpg)
The water closet also has the high end hotel look with the Lacoste rob,
slippers, and hair dryer bag. LOL.
![5](MB05.jpg)
The Italian theme comes into the bathroom also. That frame has a
vintage American Express brochure on what to do in Rome.

I decided to decorate
my room in a Roman & Italian theme. When I bought my dark
wood bedroom set, I saw that picture of Venice in the furniture
store. That was the inspiration behind the room. Throughout
the years, I have found nice Italian and Roman elements to add to the
room. The master bedroom has the third home theater system in the
house. This system has been upgraded over the years from a 1080P
HD CRT screen to a DLP to a 4K LED TV. The sound system has
remained the same however. I had my home theater guy install a
Bose 5.1 Acoustimass speaker system. I have DirecTV in this room
also.
Since I am so spoiled,
I can not sleep on any ordinary linens. LOL. The sheets in
the master bedroom are Hotel Collection high tread count sheets that
complement whichever comforter set the room has. My housekeeping
staff is good about rotating the bedroom sets every six months or
so.
My wife moved in years
after I bought the house so I did add pictures of us in the room.
We have a picture from our rehearsal dinner in Cabo San Lucas which has
the signatures of our guests in the matte. Moreover, we have one
of our wedding pictures in the room too. We also have a picture
of us in Macau on the wall.
